This event is free to participants due to a Neighbourhood Small Grant! Join the Everett Crowley Park Committee and experienced weaver Joe Boyd for a 'weeding and weaving' event in Everett Crowley Park. During this session you will get dirty, have fun and help the environment! During the first half of the session, we will remove invasive English Ivy from one of stewardship sites, Joe Boyd will then lead us on a workshop to weave this ivy into baskets. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, find out about the unique history and ecology of Everett Crowley Park, and make a take home beautiful basket.
