Join the Everett Crowley Park Committee and experienced weaver Joe Boyd for a 'weeding and weaving' event in Everett Crowley Park. During this session you will get dirty, have fun and help the environment! During the first half of the session, we will remove invasive English Ivy from one of stewardship sites, Joe Boyd will then lead us on a workshop to weave this ivy into baskets. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, find out about the unique history and ecology of Everett Crowley Park, and make a take home beautiful basket.

Gloves, tools and light refreshments are provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. Weather permitting.

Please pre-register. Meet at the front entrance to the Champlain Heights Community Centre (3350 Maquinna Dr) at 10 AM so we can walk down to the work site together.
